Muskoka has always felt like home. These days it's home all year, and helping people find the right cottage, or sell theirs, is how I spend most of it.
I spent my childhood summers in Muskoka, and it has always felt like home: the lakes, the forests, the people, and the slower pace of life up here.
Today I live here year-round. My family's cottage is on a small, quiet lake, and I love the contrast between those quiet mornings and boating across the big lakes to visit friends or grab dinner at a waterfront restaurant.
When I'm not working, you'll find me mountain biking the local trails, playing pickleball at the community centre, kiteboarding, fishing, or hosting a barbecue. I've travelled to more than 50 countries and lived in three, and nothing compares to a Muskoka summer.
That's really the job: knowing the lakes, the roads, the towns and the cottages well enough to help you find the right one, or sell yours to the right people. Start with the lakes.
